Altair is coming backUbisoft has just released their financial numbers and the company’s CEO Yves Guilemot announced a bucketload of new titles coming in 2009, including Assassin’s Creed 2, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and Red Steel 2. All in all, the company plans to release in their 2009/2010 fiscal year seven franchise titles, three new brands and four movie licensed games, focusing more on blockbuster titles than casual ones.

Yves Guilemot said: ?2009-10 looks very promising and our teams are working flat-out to provide gamers with the best the industry has to offer. Our line-up comprises several potential blockbusters with the launch of 7 franchises, including Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon, as well as 4 license-based games including James Cameron’s Avatar, 3 new brands and a further-enhanced casual games portfolio.?

No extra details were given on any of the aforementioned titles, nor exact release dates, but we did report a while back that Altair was taking swimming lessons, which is a good starting point. However, until then, the first game on track is the amazing I Am Alive. We’ll keep you updated if more details pop.
