Those of you who loved the original Call of Juarez first person shooter should be delighted to hear that Ubisoft plans to release a prequel to the game later this year. Entitled Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the Western-themed FPS will be developed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, as well as PC systems.
The details about the new game are pretty scarce for the moment, but we do know that Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood will now transport players all the way to Mexico where the Aztec ruins await to be explored. Also, Ubisoft revealed that players will be able to embody both McCall brothers and face the dangers as they know best. Unfortunately, that’s about everything we know for the moment…
“Call of Juarez was well received by gamers and critics,” said John Parkes, Marketing Director at Ubisoft. “We’re confident this new collaboration with Techland will bring an even bigger and better adventure to fans of shooters and the lawless Wild West,” he added.
