I must admit that I love it when out of nowhere a developer nobody has ever heard about presents an awesomely interesting project. That’s the case of Polish developers Flying Fish Works who announced an original IP, a first person shooter game titled Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Set in a medieval setting and charged with upgradeable exorcisms and uncompromising brutality according to this period, Hellion appears to have the potential to deliver a deep, gory and intense experience when it hits store shelves in 2010.
As an armed man of the newborn Inquisition, you will battle heretics, execute exorcisms, face demons and unintentionally become part of a political and religious intrigue. Of course, the mankind is standing on the verge of doom and you will be tasked to save the world – and maybe a bit of cliché never hurts, right? Because, in the end, Hellion is an epic journey through different medieval cultures full of real-life characters, wild animals, rough warriors, powerful Templar knights, deadly assassins and, ultimately, horrifying demons – which is exactly what gamers love.
We’re keeping our eyes on this project, so make sure you visit back for more details!
