Now since the Game Developers Conference 2009 has started, it’s time to prepare for some rumors regarding plans from the future from big and small companies. We’re starting with a report regarding the upcoming PlayStation 3 Firmware update (2.70) which apparently will be released by the end of the week.

“PS3 Firmware 2.70 definitely this week. Developers got it yesterday,” told an unnamed source to vg247 who insist that the source is concrete. Hopefully he or she really is – it’s never a bad time to get a firmware update, right?
