High Voltage’s promising Wii shooter The Conduit seems to finally have a publisher: Sega. Although no official confirmation has been made by either company, a folder called “The Conduit” was spotted on Sega’s public FTP server and this should be enough of a proof. However, take this news with a pinch of salt until an official confirmation is released.

The Conduit is a very popular FPS developed for Nintendo’s Wii that promises to challenge Xbox 360 and PS3 titles with truly next gen graphics: and from the trailers released, we understood that High Voltage has a point.

Sega, on the other hand, has recently gone on a “pick-up” spree and snapped up a list of very promising titles, including Platinum Games’ Madworld and Bayonetta, so it would make sense to hear that they were interested in even more quality titles.

We’ll keep you updated on the matter as soon as everything is clear. However, there’s one thing we’re certain of: published by Sega or not, The Conduit will be released next year.
