With all the major games conferences held this year being criticized for the lack of big name announcements, it is left for the Tokyo Game Show event in Japan to save the honor of such events. Apparently, this will really happen – at least when it comes to Sony, since the company has announced that brand new titles we’ve never heard of will be presented during this year’s TGS.

You can imagine that, since we’re talking about “titles we’ve never heard of” we can’t tell you their names for now, but we can offer a few hints: 11 of these titles are PS3 games (9 developed by Sony, 1 by Konami – and it’s very unlikely to be a MGS 5, and 1 by Irem). Three new titles will also be announced for the PSP, all developed by Sony.
