The upcoming spin-off game Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will now be heading to Steam, Tecmo Koei has revealed. The title will also be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z marks a dramatic departure from the Ninja Gaiden series, as the game boasts a cel-shaded look and is the brain child behind Megaman creator Keiji Inafune. The game will feature a different main character from series regular Ryu Hayabusa. Yaiba, an eponymous cyborg ninja, will be the main protagonist this time around.

The game will be available sometime next year.

In other news Konami has announced the release date for the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection. The compilation will be available on November 8 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and will cost £30/$60. The collection will feature the 2010 hit Castlevania: Lords of Shadow alongside it’s Reverie and Resurrection DLC packs. The collection will also contain Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD, an entry that was originally developed for the 3DS but has since been updated for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Finally, you’ll also be able to access the demo for Lords of Shadow 2, which is slated for a February 2014 release date. Lords of Shadow 2 marks the end of the Dracula Lords of Shadow trilogy.
