The retailer revealed the information in the FAQ under the bundle upgrade page, which is available for those that have previously pre-ordered the regular bundles.
“Customers who pre-ordered from 7 August may receive their consoles after release date, but will get them before Christmas. The estimated delivery date for your order will be displayed in Your Orders as soon as it’s available,” Amazon states.
Ironically, people can buy the console much earlier at regular brick and mortar stores. Sony has outlined that they plan on holding back pre-orders in order to compensate for the console being available for purchase at stores come launch day. The PS4 currently has sold over 1 million pre-orders.
The system will be available on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
