Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Officially Announced for Wii

harry-mason-artKonami plans to reinvent the Silent Hill classic title for the little toy we all know as the Nintendo Wii. Fully titled Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, the game will bring horror to the Wii owners who will probably not rush in to purchase the game as the more hardcore gamers would do, but it will still be a nice addition to the games lineup.

Also, even though a remake, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will take a different path, Konami promise. For example, characters can be approached but will offer different responses and be found in different places, while new clues and gameplay paths can be followed. Oooh, so cool!

The game follows Harry Mason as he attempts to unravel the mystery of his missing daughter, Cheryl. Mason’s investigations lead him to the mist-shrouded, snowy streets of Silent Hill: a malevolent town where the shadows play host to a wealth of evil, misshapen creatures. But you probably know that already.

What you don’t know is that the upcoming Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will turn the Wiimote into a torch and cellphone (probably not at the same time) and generally we’ll have an improved gameplay to enjoy. And the entire madness will kick of this Fall.
