mortal-online-screenOne of the most promising MMOGs to be released this year, Mortal Online, can now be pre-ordered from the official website. Also, thanks to this occasion, the developers have explained the schedule and plans for the Mortal Online Beta testing, which will be a bit more complicated, but explained below.

So, for starters, Mortal Online will only have 10,000 pre-orders accepted, and just one copy per account will be allowed (even though one user can register multiple accounts). Next, since Mortal Online is not a free to play MMO, it will cost you $14.25 in the US or 14.25 Euro in Europe, per month. And, if all these little details weren’t enough, the developers have also planned a block-beta release, with five blocks of 2,000 players each. The kick off schedule for the blocks is below:

July 20: Block A (including 999 Limited Editions)
August 3: Block B
August 17: Block C
August 31: Block D
September 14: Block E

Now that you know all these details regarding the upcoming release of the promising Mortal Online, it’s worth checking out the estimated (by the developers) system requirements – both the minimum and recommended ones. The minimum sys specs are:

OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz or equivalent
RAM: 1GB
Video card: ATI Radeon 9800/nVidia GeForce 6600
Video memory 256MB
Hard drive space: 5-25GB

The recommended Mortal Online sys specs are:

OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or equivalent
RAM: 2048MB Dual Channel DDR2
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or equivalent
Video memory: 512MB
Hard drive space: 30GB

Please note that the developers warn that these are just the estimated system requirements and they will change over time since not all options and scaling are in the game now. A real resource eater this Mortal Online! But I’m sure it will really worth the money!
