Darksiders 2 has just been launched and people are already having a great time playing the game, but then there are a few who are not just as lucky as their game keeps crashing, or it freezes and has other errors that make it unplayable. I am here to share with you some tips that will help you fix Darksiders 2 crashes, freezes and errors that drive you insane and hopefully allow you to play the game without a problem.

So let’s check out below some suggested fixes for game crashes, freezes and other errors:

1. Darksiders 2 Crashes at campaign start

The most annoying problem is with the game crashing at campaign start, during the video. There are just some long shots right now at fixing this problem, but you should give them a go: try to check the game cache on Steam, restart Steam and restart your computer. If this doesn’t work, some people have reported that unplugging the internet cable, for some reason, made the game work. If you have wireless, simply disable your internet connection.

Apart from that, we can try the “basic” fixes, but few people reported to have any luck with them: make sure that you have the latest drivers (graphic card drivers) installed on your computer, try running the game in admin mode and hope for the best.

2. Darksiders 2 does not load/ does not launch

Make sure that you have the Windows .Net Framework Drivers installed and you have your drivers updated (both video AND audio)

Also make sure that you have the files dxwebsetup.exe and vcredist_x86.exe in your Darksiders 2 install folder.

3. Performance problems and other problems and errors are fixed when you force Vsync on through the graphic card’s control panel and usually the biggest and most notable effect comes when you disable your internet connection.

Hopefully these fixes will help you with the Darksiders 2 Crashes, freezes and launch problems. If you have any other possible solutions, please share them with us in the comment section below.
