Great news for all the Gran Turismo fans out there because a new free update for Prologue has been released, offering three brand new (and beautiful) cars along with a bunch of gameplay and performance enhancements. So you’d better start the download right now and check the rest of the news to hear what it brings.

First of all, and probably the most important thing for us is the introduction of three new car models for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue: GT by Citreon, a concept car resulted from the collaboration between Citroen and Polyphony Digital. A true beauty which can be admired below, together with the other two cars. GT by Citreon is the most expensive addition, costing no less than 1 million credits!

The other two beauties made available through this update are Ferrari California and the Lotus Evora, a bit cheaper: 300,000 credits for the Ferrari and 100,000 for the Lotus. So we’ll have some playing to do, right?

Cars apart, this GT5 Prologue third update brings a few new changes: speed penalties have been removed during Time Trial events, Race Events were tweaked and the earnings increased, and the wireless controller responsiveness has been improved – we need it to be perfect for the three new candies, right?

Now, as you admire the three cars below, have in mind that this third update will reset all your rankings, times and records, as well as key layouts.
