Even though the title sounds like the one of those e-mails you receive in your spam folders, it’s completely true: Superfoods have been introduced to FishVille and you’re allowed to try them out a little bit before deciding if they’re worth the money.

There are two types of Superfoods in Fishville at the moment – Growth and Caffeine. Although their names are pretty obvious regarding the effects of the foods, stats are very important.

So… what does the Caffeine Superfood do? Similar to the hybernator, it gives more energy to your FishVille fish, doubling the time until the next time you should feed them. Therefore, the FishVille Caffeine is great for those times when you know you won’t be able to log in for a relatively short period of time.

What does the Growth Superfood do? It makes fish grow faster, most likely by virtually advancing the time (however, I do not know the exact formula). I have tried the Growth superfood on my Blue Spot Groupers and it only game them 10% extra age, which is not quite impressive… But if you desperately need to grow a fish for whatever reasons, the Growth Superfood is the way to do it.
