In preparation for the upcoming release of the Broken Steel DLC, Bethesda have released the 1.5 patch for Fallout 3 which is available for both the PC and the console versions of the award winning RPG. However, it’s not a huge patch fixing too many things up, especially since most of the problems the game had were already fixed in previous updates.
Either way, it would be a good idea to get the Fallout 3 patch 1.5. Here are the changes it brings:
New achievements for Broken Steel
Fixed issue with VATS calculations not appearing properly for perks (PC)
Fixed crash related to altered references between master files
LOD objects render properly when loaded from DLC worldspaces
Fixed issue with companion NPCs not loading into cells immediately after player
The Broken Steel DLC is expected to be made available for download on May 5.
