colin-dirt2Colin McRae: DiRT 2, Codemasters’ top racing game, will be released on September 8 this year, according to a recent press statement. The game was initially delayed because the devs wanted to wait for the DirectX 11 technology. But now, the time has come!

Promising to deliver a true racing experience, Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will offer players over 100 events, including aggressive, multi-vehicle races and intense solo challenges set in varied environments – from Malaysia to LA and London. Basically, all you could wish for will be there. Or so promise the Codies.

Also, a top lineup of drivers will be introduced to gamers, like Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Dave Mirra and Tanner Faust who will help players build their careers. We also know that Codemasters tend to get very inspired when it comes to promoting racing games like DiRT, so I’m sure that the TV spots will be also really awesome.

But, of course, that’s not what matters most. Most important is the fact that Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will be released by the end of the year, on September 8 in the US (or September 10 in Europe). We’ll see how good it is then.
