Known as Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 in Japan, the game originally hit arcades in 2001, and was ported to Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox shortly after. The game has 48 characters to battle with from Capcom and SNK franchises such as Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Rival Schools, Fatal Fury, Darkstalkers and others.
An updated version of Street Fighter 4 will be revealed prior to tomorrow night’s Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition finals at EVO 2013, Capcom announced earlier during the event.
The new version of the game, which will be digitally released as DLC just like with the Super Street Fighter 4‘s Arcade Edition update, will include five brand new characters, six new stages and several balance tweaks. Elena, Rolento, Hugo and Poison will be added to the game’s character roster, in addition to a fifth unknown character.
The DLC pack will reportedly cost fifteen dollars when it launches on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A release date will be decided in early 2014.
