EA and Criterion have decided to offer Burnout Paradise fans a treat (and grab some more money in the process): the companies have announced Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box, a special edition release of lots of BP goodies. The collection will be available in February and, along with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, it will mark its PC debut too! Incredibly good news for racing game enthusiasts and PC owners!

The Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box will include the original Burnout Paradise plus the Cagney and Bikes content updates, as well as the brand new BP Party content. Burnout Paradise Party is an offline multiplayer mode designed to allow up to eight friends to “pass-the-pad” in dozens of Burnout challenges. If you already own Burnout Paradise you should not worry: Burnout Paradise Party will be sold separately as downloadable content.

Burnout Paradise Party will be on display and available for free play at EA’s booth during the London Games Festival in Trafalgar Square from Oct 31 – Nov 1, 2008, so if you want to test things before buying, this is your chance. But you probably know already that, since it’s Burnout, it’s going to be great anyway. We’d be happier if we knew more about the PC version, to be honest. But we’ll keep you updated!
