Just like video games based on the World War II events, it’s no longer funny or something new to make fun of games based on the WWII events, so I’ll skip that for now, even though my fingers are itching. Instead, I will only let you know that Lighthouse Interactive’s WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger is now available in the UK.

The developers claim that their game brings players a multiplayer simulation game featuring the most advanced tank weaponry (of those times, of course) and historically accurate representations of environments, as well as realistic physics. In other words, exactly what a fan of the genre with a strong Internet connection wants.

WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger takes place in Belarus during the summer of 1944, in which the Soviet Union launched ‘Operation Bagration’, the Belarusian offensive, against the retreating German Wehrmacht. After Kursk, this was the most significant struggle of the two tank armies that resulted in the complete destruction of the German Army Group Centre and the Soviet recapture of all territories within their 1941 borders. So… if you’re interested in rewriting history, this is your chance!
