chaoticNamed “Chaotic”, you wouldn’t be tempted to believe that Activision’s upcoming is actually a game for kids. But when you hear that it’s actually a title based on the trading card game and the animated television series with the same name, you can accept it as it is: a game for kids planned to get released on Wii, DS, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The Chaotic video game, created in collaboration with 4Kids Entertainment, combines action, role playing and turn-based strategy gameplay elements for an epic adventure in Perim, world of Chaotic. Players adventure through 3D environments and interact with various characters from the trading card game and animated series. Players will build and manage their own army of Chaotic creatures while fighting enemies, collecting battlegear and unlocking new mugic (the Chaotic magic) spells and attacks.

“Chaotic was the first trading card franchise specifically designed to connect competition with online interaction, so it’s a natural fit for the property to evolve into videogames,” said Alfred R. Kahn, Chairman and CEO, 4Kids Entertainment. “Fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to take their battles to the next level … and now a Chaotic video game is on the horizon.”

However, Activision did not mention when actually we’ll reach the horizon (hopefully it’s not like in real life). This means that we have no release date announced for the upcoming title, but we’re keeping an eye on it and update you as soon as we have new info.
