Things seem to go from good to even better for High Voltage’s The Conduit, probably the most anticipated FPS for the Wii (although, strangely, it still has no publisher). The developing company has announced that it signed contracts with three Hollywood actors to take care of the voice acting.

Mark A. Sheppard (Battlestar Galactica, 24, Medium, Firefly) will offer his voice to the main character, Mr. Ford while another Sheppard – William Morgan (Star Trek VI, The Prestige and Transformers), will be the voice of character John Adams. Lastly, the bad guy will be brought to life by Kevin Sorbo, known as Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda.

Even though we’re not talking about actors like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, I must admit that it’s still a huge achievement for an indie company to have a game’s voice acting done by Hollywood actors. Hopefully the publishers will start looki8ng into The Conduit as soon as possible.

High Voltage’s game is tentatively scheduled for release in Q1 2009 – but the date depends on when they’ll find a publisher.
