Following Bungie’s big announcement (yes, they finally were allowed to announce Halo 3 Recon), Microsoft has decided to make another big announcement for their fans: Ninety-Nine Night, the hack and slash game originally released in 2006 will get a sequel. An Xbox 360 exclusive, to be more specific (unfortunately for PS3 and PC owners who love a classic button mashing title). However, no further details were offered.

There are two things that make us wonder, though: how will the developers, Q Entertainment, will name it? Ninety-Nine Nights 2 sounds horrible, One Hundred Nights makes no sense… I guess that nobody was really expecting that this title will get a sequel in the first place (we must admit that the first wasn’t exactly the best game ever, right?)

Anyway, the most important thing is that Xbox 360 fans should be pleased. Another exclusive is coming their way and, having in mind that Sony has decided not to hold a conference during this year’s Tokyo Game show, this could only be translated as “no important news”. Which is kind of sucky anyway.
