Electronic Arts has just announced that they recently launched MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic has sold around 2 million copies and at the moment has 1.7 million subscribers, making it the fastest growing subscription MMO in history, according to the publishers.
There are more record-like stats that Electronic Arts revealed about SWTOR: at one point, there were 1 million concurrent users online on the game’s servers and the title also seems to be extremely addictive as the average time a user spent playing the MMO during its first month was 4 hours.
So we can indeed agree that we’re talking about some really impressive numbers here. All that EA must do now is make sure that they continue to deliver gamers what they want to get from the game and the quality of their services doesn’t drop.
And maybe let players get their hands on that White Lightsaber Crystal, right?
