“The $10 credit can be used towards anything in the store including new PS4 launch titles, such as Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Killzone: Shadow Fall,” said Sony Network Entertainment vice president Eric Lempel.
This promotion will only be available for a limited time and currently only exists in the U.S and Canada. The Music Unlimited code will only be valid for new subscribers to the Music Unlimited Premium plan; the service originally costs $9.99 a month.
Sony made the announcement back at E3 that PS Plus will be required if players want access to mulitplayer gaming. The service isn’t required for access to apps or the PS Store however. This free month will due well to entice players to subscribe to the service for the long run, as it does offer enticing perks. Currently Plus subscribers in the U.S have access to a dozen free PS3/Vita games including the recently released Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Upcoming PS4 titles Resogun and Contrast will also be offered for free to Plus subscribers as well.
The console will make its debut on November 15.
