Point and click adventure games are no longer as popular as they used to be and nowadays it’s the indie developers that keep the genre alive – and probably old bastards like myself that keep playing these “boring” games.

The latest entry in this genre is Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass, created by independent Studio Wadjet Eye Games. The game tells the story of Brian, the absolutely worst wrestler in the world who, somehow, managed to win the title and get the belt.

However, people are not happy that poor Brian has won their belt, so they decide to kidnap the man and, of course, his belt. It’s now up to Simon and Defender, his two best friends, to create the rescue party and, well… go and rescue the wrestler!

Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass lets you play as all the three characters throughout the game and if you want to test out the game mechanics and enjoy the mad humor of the title, you can already download a game demo from the official website.

The full game is expected to be released on February 29th and it will cost you $9.99 for the digital download version. And I think it’s totally worth the price!
