With 2012 just started, it’s time to embark on an epic quest and since we’ve all spent all our money on the New Year’s party, I’m going to recommend a free game: Adventure Story, an amazing action platformer that can be played on Newgrounds amongst other places.

The story of the game is pretty basic: our main character’s loved one is kidnapped and your goal is to get her back. Of course, doing it is not that easy and you’ll have to explore the worlds of… Adventure Story (I have no idea if the world actually has a name), battle tons of enemies and try to destroy bosses, all for the sake of your love.

The nice thing about Adventure Story is that it comes packed with a ton of RPG elements like gaining experience, leveling up, learning and using spells, improving stats and equipment…. all in all everything you can wish for from a game!

The visuals are also pretty nice for a free flash game and Adventure Story certainly delivers in terms of content – there are many levels to complete and various types of enemies to fight against in a world filled with riches, so you will never get bored. You’ll never get to work either, since the game will keep you glued to the screen, but that is never a problem, right?
