In the game, a third person shooter, players will be put in the shoes of John Connor and help him with the fight against the Skynet enemies – both robots from the film, as well as new ones, designed especially for the game. Actually, the game does not follow the movie’s story, but it can be considered a kind of a prequel, since it takes place two years prior to the events in the Terminator Salvation flick.
Among the features steadied for the game, Warner Bros are happy with the unrelenting and incredibly resilient iconic enemies from the Terminator franchise who will fight to their end both on land and in the sky, even if they’re broken to pieces and have to crawl to the player. There will also be an advanced destructible cover gameplay, allowing players to use the destructible environment as protection and strategically navigate through enemy entrenched territory. Also, Terminator Salvation will deliver lots of weapons, as well as vehicular combat, which sounds quite promising. So hopefully this title won’t be one of the many poor movie-based games.
