Master Chief’s previous adventures are getting the new-gen treatment, as Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been revealed.
Engadget has reported that a collection including HD versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 is coming this fall for the Xbox One. Sources have stated that the Master Chief Collection will serve as a way to refresh players on the popular protagonist’s stories before the release of the Xbox One-exclusive Halo 5.
That being said, the collection will not include the Master Chief-less titles such as Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.
More information is certainly to come, including price and digital distribution details, but for now we are still waiting on official word from Microsoft.
