Bethesda Softworks have decided to try and right all the wrongs caused by the Fallout 3 crashes and bugs and announced the release of a free downloadable content pack for the game, the G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit). In addition, DLC for the Xbox 360 version is also set to be released early next year.

As the name suggests, the Fallout 3 Creation Kit for the PC allows players to create and add their own content to the game, thus expanding the game as they see fit. It will allow users to create, modify, and edit any data for use with Fallout 3, from building landscapes, towns, and locations to writing dialogue, creating characters, weapons, creatures, and more. So… are you ready to create your own Fallout 3 game? Bethesda surely gives you the means of doing so! Absolutely awesome!

But that’s not all! Three additional downloadable content packs will be released next year for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. The first one, Operation: Anchorage will be released in January 2009 and it will offer players the chance to fight in the battle for the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders.

In February, we’ll get a new Fallout 3 DLC pack, The Pitt – a new industrial raider town; in March we’ll get the third DLC pack, Broken Steel which gives you the chance to rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Simply amazing.
