Square Enix has revealed that the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be released in North America on March 18th and in Europe on March 21st.

This release date is only for the PlayStation 3 version of the game, which will be shipping on a single disc, and will be priced at $39.99. An announcement has not yet been made for the PS Vita, which shall have the two games sold separately.

The games shall also include Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, which were previously only included in the international releases of the games.

Square Enix also revealed a redesign for the artwork on the Limited Edition, which is given as a free upgrade to those who order the game, to include the game’s protagonists, Tidus and Yuna. They also noted that those who pre-order will be getting an exclusive Concept Artbook package if you get the free Limited Edition upgrade.

This is a little later than many had hoped, with Final Fantasy X and the X-2 Remasters coming out on the 26th December in Japan on both PS3 and PS Vita.

Square Enix have also released a new five minute video for the release entitled “Saving Spira”, which does contain some story details just in case you want to experience it ‘fresh’.
