fearWarner Bros. has announced that a demo for their highly anticipated FPS, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin will be up for grabs later this week, on January 22. It’s worth noting that it will be a single-player demo only, which means that the developers don’t wish to show us all the goodies the game has in store: and hopefully for them this demo won’t be a game killer.

So on January 22, you will be offered a ?glimpse of the action, terror and suspense of the full retail version of the game,? as the official statement reads. You’ll get the chance to explore several in-game locations of the ruined Auburn city, which seems fair enough.

The F.E.A.R. 2 demo will be available on XBLM and PSN, as well as PC systems via the game’s official website. And if you don’t know for sure if your gaming rig can offer enough fuel to the game, check the FEAR 2 system requirements.
