PS4Sony has responded to the news of PS4 being the biggest console launch in industry history by promising “epic” announcements next year. Guy Longworth, senior VP of PlayStation brand marketing, said on PS Blog that he “can’t wait for E3 now”.

“We’re working on lots of exciting updates and features which we’ll get to you as soon as we possibly can,” Longworth writes.

Longworth also noted that Sony are doing their best with supplying PS4s to consumers, as the console remains relatively sold out around the world.

The PS4 has sold over 2.1 million units worldwide, making it the biggest console launch in November. However, Xbox One remains the fastest selling console with nearly 100,000 units sold everyday.

So far Sony has only announced the next Uncharted for Playstation 4 back at the system’s first launch day. There are 20 or so first-party titles in development for the game. Driveclub, Infamous: Second Son, and The Order: 1886 are all slated for a 2014 release. Anything beyond that remains unknown.
