devil-summonerOne would believe that PlayStation 2 games are no longer a priority for developers, but Atlus tries to prove them wrong by remaining faithful to the PS2: they’re preparing the release of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 on the PlayStation 2 and promise it will be one of the best RPGs of 2009. Big words, right?

However, they’re not just saying it for the sake of saying something: the combat system is completely overhauled and the game delivers a refined, action-packed combat with lots of new moves, more demons to control in battle (two, that is) and much more. This includes more weapons, more special attacks, more enemies (who are also smarter) and so on. You get the idea – it’s a completely overhauled Shin Megami Tensei game which will totally worth your money.

So prepare your old PlayStation 2 console to meet the game on May 12 this year, when Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 ships, together with a rare collectible plushie.
