Bio Ware has revealed there will be an all-new playable character for Mass Effect 2. Available next month, a master thief named Kasumi Goto can be recruited to Commander Shepard’s squad throughout the entire game. Kasumi is the galaxy’s most likeable, engaging and cunning master thief. The Stolen Memory DLC pack will be available for the PC for 560 BioWare points.

Kasumi’s story goes like that: Cerberus has hired her services and in return she has asked for Commander Shepard’s help on a dangerous heist to infiltrate the vaults of a deadly master criminal, named Hock; to reclaim some data of great importance to Kasumi and to the wider galaxy in fact.

Players must gain the loyalty of Kasumi on her home planet, Bekenstein, where Hock, the master criminal is throwing a party for some of the galaxy’s richest and most powerful criminal minds.

Before all that however, released on March 23rd is the new Firewalker DLC pack, which comprises of five new missions to take place on five unchartered worlds. Players will be able to try out the new Hammerhead hover-tank to explore the planets and engage in planetary combat.
