Developer Quantic Dream has announced on a special website that their latest effort, Beyond: Two Souls, has sold 1 million copies in 2013. The Playstation 3-exclusive, which features the likeness and voices of Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, past the one million mark shortly before Christmas.
The game launched on October 8, which means it managed to sell a million copies in just a span of 3 months. Its predecessor, Heavy Rain, has sold 3 million copies to date.
Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere took to Twitter to share positive sales numbers for the game in France. 70,088 copies of the game has been sold in France, outpacing Heavy Rain’s commercial performance in the country, which achieved the same mark in 12 weeks.
Quantic Dream have confirmed that they’re currently working on a PS4 title, but details are scarce concerning this mystery game.
