TitanfallIn a EA earnings call earlier today, the company’s CFO  Blake Jorgensen confirmed that Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall will remain exclusive on PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One “for the life of the title.”

Respawn’s Vince Zampella confirmed the news via his twitter, “Always MS exclusive at launch, great partner and focus is good for a startup. EA made a deal for the rest, we only found out recently =(“

Despite Respawn only developing for Microsoft’s console, Zampella stressed that the company will develop for the PS4 in the future. “Of course we will [make PlayStation 4 games], just not the first Titanfall,” he states.

It was rumored that Respawn’s highly anticipated first title will eventually make its way onto the PS4, but it now seems that isn’t the case. The game also recently received a release date, March 2014.

Jorgensen also squashed rumors that Titanfall was being rushed into release, stating that the game always had a March, April, or May release date. COO Peter Moore added, “No, we’re not doing that at all,” in response to these rumors. He also believes Titanfall will release with exceptional praise and will review “very highly.”
