Today is the day when we get some brand new options for Spore Electronic Arts and Maxis nicely packed in a Creepy & Cute Parts Pack. However, this pack does not come alone, but with a patch that brings the game to version 1.03. Do they worth the trouble? Read our Spore review to find out!
The Spore Patch 1.03 does not change too many things for its 107MB. However, we are ready to forget it for that since it brings no less than 24 Exoskeleton limbs for free! Among the changes, Maxis notes:
– Fix for esc key not bringing up Options in Galaxy Game Entry
– Fix for creator backgrounds appearing on small sporepedia cards
– Update to help keep achievements on the server in sync with achievements in the game
If the new patch does not seem to bring us the moon, we can’t say the same about the Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack. Priced at $19.99, the pack brings no less than 100 new design components, including new parts, paint options and animations – 60 new creature parts, 48 new paint options and 24 new animations – including the robot, hoe-down, moonwalk and more. Oh my God! Is Spore slowly turning into a Viva Pinata game for preschoolers?
