The game tells the story of a big nosed guy who destroys a bug-like robotic being and begins a journey to replace its body. You will explore tons of beautifully drawn landscapes, you will do quite a lot of clicking around and you’ll solve lots of puzzles – most of them very simple and straightforwards, which make Alchemia a modern kind of a visual novel more than a classic adventure game.
The soundtrack of today’s free flash game is also simply amazing and the story itself is quite catchy. I can only complain about the game’s overall speed: everything seems to move slower than it should in the game’s world (and no, I’m not talking about lag or something like that) and you will soon get the feeling that you simply must go to sleep. Or start drinking, since these are the two moods Alchemia has managed to put me into, even though the title is quite family-friendly, I can say.
So if I managed to spark some interest, head over to the game’s official website and give it a try. And if you love it as much as I did, you’ll be delighted to hear that a sequel is already in the works. Unfortunately, it won’t be free to play anymore, which makes Alchemia an even better product already!
