The recently released turn based strategy Elven Legacy will soon receive a new expansion from Paradox. Fully titled Elven Legacy: Ranger and set to be released in the third quarter of the year, the expansion will add new heroes, missions, artifacts, as well as an expanded storyline.
In other words, Elven Legacy: Ranger will introduce renowned ranger Cornelius into play, a highly skilled individual who is tasked with preparing the world of Illis for the coming of the order. Cornelius possesses a holy spear that can apply special powers to his attacks and which can be used without losing the turn! For example, ranger Cornelius can activate a paralyzing stroke and then throw the spear at the enemy. The enemy unit will not only suffer damage from the attack, but they will also be unable to move during the enemy’s turn.
Also, Paradox promises that, even though there is one single ending of the game, there are several ways of reaching it and the order in which one completes the missions will affect future in-game events. Which sounds nice, especially since the Elven Legacy: Ranger is anticipated to be retailed for just $9.99.
