We have seen many complaints on the Sims 4 forums out there regarding a strange problem that occurs in the game: the nudity pixelation aka EA’s censorship of The Sims 4 characters’ most intimate parts remains active throughout the game, making it entirely unplayable. Or, at least, very unpleasant to play. This bug has become known as the Sims 4 mosaic blur glitch or pixelation bug and I am here to share with you the details on how to fix that. Because you can do it manually before the developers release a patch that will actually fix it.

So in order to fix the mosaic blur glitch in The Sims 4 or the nude pixelation persisting problem, you have two options:

– First of all and the easiest of them all is to simply change the appearance of your Sims. Go to a mirror nearby and select the “Change Appearance” option. No matter if you change any clothes or not, after you click accept and get back to the game, the blur/pixelation of your character should be gone.

– If this doesn’t work, some users on forums dedicated to the game reported another possible fix. In order to do it, you will have to quit your game first, then head over to the install directory and find a file called TS4.par. Rename the file into The.Sims.4.Launcher.par – now restart your game and the problem should be solved.
