the sims 4The Sims 4 has landed first place in the UK All Formats Chart.

The game becomes the first PC-only number one since Guild Wars 2 managed the feat two years ago. The games chart success also comes solely from physical copies purchased, with digital downloads not counted by Chart Track.

Watch Dogs leaps seven places to second place this week, forcing last week’s number one Metro: Redux down to third place.

The Last of Us: Remastered is in fourth place, whilst Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition drops three places to fifth.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is in sixth this week, whilst the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft moves up a place to seventh.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare tumbles four places to eighth, The PS3 Edition of Minecraft re-enters the Top 10 again in ninth, whilst Grand Theft Auto V drops to 10th this week.

There are two new entries in the Top 40 this week, starting with PS Vita’s Danganrompa 2: Goodbye Despair debuting at 29th place, 13 higher than its predecessor ‘Trigger Happy Havoc’. Also, Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate on Xbox One and PS4 enters at 34th place.
