The plot of Sprill & Ritchie: Adventures in Time is pretty simple and, as a surprise for casual games, actually makes sense. A pearl found by the duo during their adventures in the Bermuda Triangle proved to be a very powerful alien artifact that Sprill used to create a time machine. Unfortunately, he mistakenly sent some modern objects back in the times of the Romans or the Egyptian pharaohs, so the duo has to travel there now and recover the lost objects before the fate of the entire human kind is changed irremediably.
Even more, Alwar promises that Sprill & Ritchie: Adventures in Time is indeed a large-scale project, even though it is “just” a casual game:
“The game features tons of animated cutscenes and the gameplay is quite unique,” Kirill Plotnikov, vice president of publishing at Alawar says. “We focused on developing addictive mini-games, logical puzzles and a captivating story with humorous dialogue. Sprill and Ritchie are nothing less than hilarious and crack jokes all the time. I believe players will enjoy the time they spend with these two charming cut-ups.”
And judging by the screenshots I saw, I must admit that I believe that statement. However, if you’re still unsure if you should invest in this new game, just wait a few days and we’ll have a full review of Sprill & Ritchie: Adventures in Time here on Unigamesity!
