EA announced that their latest FIFA game sold over 1.2 millions copies in just the first week after the release. With this number Fifa 09 becomes the game with the highest sales rate from all FIFA series.

This ‘record’ might not be the only one, since the reviews of Fifa 09 are all pretty good. Unlike the previous titles this new release has some really great gameplay improvements (you can play now using both keyboard and mouse) and features (you have real-life performance specs for players).
