And we don’t see why they wouldn’t: they have legendary character designer Toshiyuki Itahana in the team, they have a guaranteed mystery-storyline players all ages will love and, most certainly, they have some well implemented Wii motion sensitive controls. And, to top it all, they have the Final Fantasy universe to let us play in. So the fun should be guaranteed, but we’ll see for ourselves by the end of October, when the game is released.
John Yamamoto, president and CEO of Square Enix said: “Chocobo has been a firm favourite with Final Fantasy fans for years, and players will be able to see him take centre stage and come to life in his very own adventure. Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon will appeal to fans of the series along with younger Wii owners looking for an engrossing adventure.”
Among other things, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon features lots of FF job classes (like the knight, black mage or white mage), secret dungeons and job unlockables as well as the multiplayer options via Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connection.
