Fallout 3 DLC The Pitt Is Full of Bugs

The PittUnfortunately for those wishing to spend some new time in the newly added areas in Fallout 3, the latest downloadable content from Bethesda, Tjhe Pitt, is full of bugs and had to be temporarily removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace. So if you downloaded The Pitt and nothing seemed to work, you now know why. But you can still check out how to fix Fallout 3 crashes and freezes, just to be prepared!

A Bethesda rep posted on the company’s official blog: “We are continuing to look into the issues people are experiencing with The Pitt for Xbox 360. As of now it looks like the file for the English version on Xbox Live was somehow corrupted. We are currently working with Microsoft to remove the existing file off of Live to prevent any further downloads. Our plan is to replace it with a new file as soon as possible. We hope to have another update for you shortly.”

However, it appears that just the Xbox 360 version of The Pitt is affected and not the PC one. Is that correct? Let us know if you encounter any problems with the latest Fallout 3 DLC on PC!

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas have been great games, up until the point where both began to freeze randomly. Adding the Pitt seemed to bring it back, but now that freezes too. Technology sucks.

To elaborate – I got to the very end of Fallout 3 New Vegas – game froze, and cannot get past it no matter how I try. Now, the same is happening with Fallout 3, which I had already beaten without a single problem. I am in the Pitt, and am leveling up, and as soon as I choose a perk ( so far, any perk) it locks and has to be restarted. NOW, when I restart, it says that previous data is no longer available. What the hell is going on with this crap on my XBOX? As I said before, to make a game that is this involved and intense, only to have these bugs wreck it – how more frustrated can you get? Anyone have any suggestions before I find a tall building and toss this pile of junk off it?
