Sony has today announced that European PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD as well as Demon’s Souls as part of the instant game collection . The games will become available during the first week June but we are yet to be told a specific date or which games they will be replacing.
Current EU PlayStation Plus titles include Hitman: Absolution, Catherine, Lord of the Rings: War in the North and Dead or Alive 5 along with others. I personally would expect at least 2 of these titles to make way for the incoming games.
The announcement was made in a post on the European PlayStation Blog which also detailed the Knights and Witches sale. The sale offers discounts on many games across the PS store, which feature Knights or Witches or both (hence the name of the sale). Games included in the sale can be seen below but particular highlights include Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for £19.99 along with Dragon Age II for only £7.99.
If you are not a PS Plus subscriber, both the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD and Demon’s Souls are included in the Knights and Witches sale but be quick as discounts only last until 22nd May. Or if you feel like it you can sign up to PS Plus for either 3 months or a year through the PlayStation Store.
