Considered as the best purchase this month, Left 4 Dead 2 now has its own demo released by Valve to let users test the game out and see if the new features can indeed make the game a real sequel and not just a big expansion as many people consider it to be. No matter what the result will be, every computer owner should download and give the L4D2 demo a try!
The demo features gameplay taken from “The Parish” campaign, set in New Orleans. The Left 4 Dead 2 demo can be played by up to four players over LAN too and the demo features all the new boss infected zombies and many of the new melee weapons included in the full product.
If you like what you see and you haven’t pre-ordered the game already, there is still time for that since it will only be released on November 17. Or, of course, you can wait for the first reviews and purchase it at a later date if it’s worth the money. But Valve does promise it does!
Adding new Survivors, boss zombies, weapons, and items, Left 4 Dead 2 offers a much larger game than the original, featuring more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, new Survival maps, and the new competitive game mode, Scavenge, all available at launch.
So… did you play the Left 4 Dead 2 demo?
