Today is the big day when we get the chance to play Codemaster’s Damnation, a game that promises to take the vertical shooter genre to a whole new level. The publishers have also just released a new trailer on the game’s website, presenting the intense and incredible multiplayer in the game, and I must admit I am really impressed with what I saw.
The only problem with the multiplayer is that it only allows up to 8 players to take part in the classic game modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Capture the Flag), but hopefully the maps are created to fit this small number of players. But except for that, the game’s incredible speed an intensity will certainly catch your attention!
The single player campaign puts you in the shoes of Captain Hamilton Rourke as he embarks on an epic journey to reveal the sinister truth behind Prescott Standard Industries, a company that creates a powerful drug that can turn regular people into super-soldiers. Even more, the single player campaign can get a lot more fun with features like split-screen, drop-in-drop-out co-operative gameplay, which surely add extra value to Damnation.
