Business development manager at CD Projekt Red Rafal Jaki, in an interview with Polygon, described his studio’s upcoming sci-fi RPG as “mindblowing”. The development for this videogame iteration of the table-top role playing game is going well at CD Projekt Red, and Jaki remains excited with whats being done.

“It is going really, really well and the team is growing and the development… well, I don’t want to brag or anything, but really the stuff they’ve come up with is mind-blowing,” Jaki stated.

While the game is currently only announced for PC, Jaki remained optimistic that the game will most likely be heading over to next-gen consoles.

“It most probably will be,” he said, “but we can’t confirm or deny because it’s too early for that.”

Jaki discussed CD Projekt Red’s growth as a studio, and revealed that the developer currently employs 210 people and they are all split up into three separate teams. The red team, which is more than 100 people, is currently working on The Witcher 3. The black team, which is smaller than the red team, is working on Cyberpunk 2077. The third team, the smallest out of the three, are working solely on the game engine that both of these games are using.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is confirmed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and is slated for a 2014 release date. More info on Cyberpunk 2077 should be revealed in the coming months.
