According to the devs, the multiplayer in BioShock 2 will provide a rich prequel experience that expands on the origins of BioShock. It will be set during the fall of Rapture, and players will take the role of a Plasmid test subject – they will have to use all the elements of the BioShock toolset to survive, and I’m sure people will gladly do so.
Among the key features, we have:
– Experience points earning, which leads to new weapons, plasmids and tonics that can be combined and eventually used to create a unique character that fits your style of play;
– You will see Rapture before the fall, including iconic environments in locations such as Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites;
And, of course, much more. Probably. Hopefully. We’ll see.
