Alien_isolation-Creative Assembly, the developers behind the newly announced next-gen title Alien: Isolation, are aiming to achieve native 1080p resolution on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

The studio was confident to state that the game will definitely be running on 1080p, but whether it’ll be native is something they did not confirm. Instead the company said via their Twitter account that, “Right now, we’re definitely aiming for native 1080p.”

Alien: Isolation was revealed yesterday amongst all the CES announcements, and Sega will be the publisher yet again. With the recent memory of Aliens: Colonial Marines still intact for most people, Creative Assembly is promising that their game will heavily borrow from Ridley Scott’s 1979 film and will respect the franchise, unlike the aforementioned title.

Players will be tasked to escape from the Xenomorph threat on the fringes of space, as it is promised to be a tense and horror-filled experience. The game is set to come out in late 2014.
